Our journey began with the opening of our Baillieston branch in 1989. Our focus on offering customers the very best eyecare was successful and we opened a branch in Lanark in 1995.
Hughes & McHugh’s expansion continued with our Airdrie branch opening in 1997 with the Uddingston branch following in 2002.
We aim to provide a friendly professional service for all our patients and will always go above and beyond to meet your every need.
Hughes & McHugh employ nine optometrists, six of whom are qualified Independent Prescribing Optometrists, with two more in training. As a result, we can prescribe and treat many eye conditions in practice that may otherwise require hospital referral.
